Enrolment: the Professional AI User Standard

ICU is for people who already use AI in their profession, or are ready to. You enter by showing it, not by paying for a first lesson in AI.

Two routes, one standard

Route A

Direct entry

Sector proof: you work, run a business, hold a professional registration, or are on a placement in the sector.
Practical task: use AI on a real task from your work and submit the task, the AI output, what you asked, how you checked it and what you changed.
Declaration: you promise to protect personal data and be honest about AI use.
Short interview (15 minutes) to talk through your work.

How the practical task is judged

Six areas, each scored 0 to 3. You pass with 12 or more out of 18 and no area at zero. If you do not pass, you get written feedback and a free re-submit after 30 days.

Task fit	Is the task a real one from your own work, not a toy example?
Instruction quality	Did you give clear context and limits, and improve your instructions after the first answer?
Verification	Did you check facts and numbers against real sources?
Judgement	Can you say what the AI got wrong and what you changed?
Data care	Did you keep client and personal information out of public AI tools?
Disclosure	Are you open about what the AI did and what you did?
